Important: We cannot insist enough on the
importance of reading all documentation provided with your program,
especially the user
manual. Read it now before you install our Internet cafe software
so as to guarantee a trouble free installation and use.. There is also a
trouble-shooting section in it and a forum on this page (left-hand side
menu) for help with any of your queries. For instance, be sure that
you are able to ping the server PC from each client to avoid locking
yourself out of the client application. A lot more troubleshooting topics are
covered in the manual. Buyers of our Internet cafe software are given free 30-day support. Past that period, and if you
still wish to have support, you will have to take out our yearly support contract. If you are unsure if
you have all the latest service packs and windows updates, ensure at
least that that you download the Microsoft utilities given above (MS
WMI, Windows Installer, MDAC) for your OS. These are required for a
successful installation of the program.
Functionalities limited in the initial
30-day demo period of our Internet cafe software:
- Number of PC’s limited to 3;
- Number of customers that can be created limited to 3;
- No printing;
- No program groups;
- Sessions end after 60 minutes;
- Graphical income data limited to 5 entries per day;
- Number of items in cantine limited to 3;
- No email reports.
To upgrade from an earlier version of Pro or from Free to a more recent version of the Pro version, simply turn to page 6, section 3.1.5. of the programme's manual
We suggest the installation of the following programs on your network which will greatly help you improve site monitoring and your operations:
- A. VNC: This secure VPN makes it possible to enter each PC either from within your LAN or outside of it whilst the user/operator is working with the PCs.
- B. FreePOS: FreePOS is a free Point of Sale software for restaurants.
- C. CC Proxy: This proxy server offers the following benefits:
- i. Web caching expedites the speed of surfing the net;
- ii. Provides powerful management functions including seven ways to control the Internet access on the LAN.
- iii. The time schedule can freely control the users' on-line time.
- iv. It gives authority to open the different proxy services to the different users.
- v. The bandwidth control can allocate the different bandwidth to the different users.
- vi. Web filter can ban the undesirable sites with unhealthy and irrelevant contents.
- vii. Access Logging can keep a full set of the Internet access log.
